Day 1 - Flight and Rest
This happened on a Friday
Coincidently my school gave us a half day work
So we took a late flight to Bangkok
And rested at Ramada D' Ma Hotel
Upon arrival the immigration officer greeted us rudely
Filled the forms and he asked which part of Bangkok you planned to stay
He needed us to specify the exact hotel location
And thus, commented rudely towards foreigners
While waiting for people to pick us up form airport
We proceeded to purchase local sim card - dtac
It comes with 1Gb 3G for only 299 baht
Which was very reasonable and worth it
Day 2 - Mekong River Floating Market, Wat Arun, Leather Shop, Sriracha Tiger Zoo
Early in the morning woke up
And the sun was already high by 7am as if it's 9am in Malaysia
The time difference of 1 hour made such a hassle for me
By 7.30am we departed in a bus of 18 people
Towards Mekong River and tour guide kept mumbling
She nonstop talking about their king and history
Which I am of less interested and instead looked out the window
Searching for new and fresh things
This pier is none other like the one we have in Penang
Nothing special about it and we are not encouraged to shop here
Cause it ain't cheap and things can be bought at other places at lower prices
We reached Wat Arun by boat which took us about 15minutes
Once you got up the boat, a little kid will sell his items
And you are FORCED or RAPED to buy them
A garland of orchids costs 200 baht and some bread for fish feeding 200 baht
I wouldn't want to return them the garland
To me it's unetical to sell them again to other tourists
As the garland has my sweats and it's not that fresh anymore
I had to wear a "sarung" as I wore shorts just for respect purposes
The weather was scorching hot at noon and I barely able to open my eyes
My experience with these stairs were bad as I climbed up the tower
Coming down was a problem as the stairs were too steep
Maybe due to lack of exercise my joint exerted painful reactions
For the rest of the day I was worried I couldn't stand up at all
After resting in the bus for half an hour
We arrived at one of the city's leather shop
They provided us with various skins types
Unfortunately I wasn't that interested yet (I meant for the meantime)
So I hopped in and out of the shop by then
The only thing that Thailand loses Malaysia is in this picture
The wiring system is very bad and jerking out everywhere
We headed to Sriracha Tiger Zoo and Crocodile farm
And we were prepared for Crocodile show and Elephant ride
I was excited for the elephant ride as well as crocodile show
It was my first time riding on a gigantic animal
Wanted to try on pony horses but no chance
The tomyam soup on the second was so far the best on the entire trip
The following meals aren't that good and we suffered a lot
So we got out and bought some McD for supper and Starbucks
It's cheaper compare to Singapore and the staffs are very friendly
Frankly the Tuna Pie is good and worth 29 baht
Day 3 - Coral Island, Nong Nooch Garden, Tiffany Show
We took a boat to a man-made island and stopped for 2 hours
I rested on the bench taking care of belongings
While my dear heading frontline giving all levels support
First half was actually quite bored as my legs hardly touches the sea water yet
I was shocked to know that mummy actually went for para-sailing
That was so brave and I don't even dare to fly high on sea
We headed back to Golden Beach Hotel to take a shower
Next, Nong Nooch Garden comprises of many types of gardens
Unfortunately due to time constrain we visited only 3 of the gardens
I could captured few pictures and this is my favourite
And tour guide rushed us to watch tradisional dance show and elephant show
There was nothing special except the backdrop changes perfectly
And then she rushed us for steamboat dinner and Tiffany Show
The show was good and their body shape are better than girls
They looked exactly like girls minus their voices
The one in pink looked like fairy tales princess
That marks the end of day 3
