Hong Kong Day 1 - Disneyland Theme Park

Monday 21 Sept - Day 1 (Singapore > HK)

Disneyland Hong Kong

1) Transport to Disneyland Hong Kong

Ride Tung Chung “orange” MTR line to Sunny Bay MTR Station and switch to Disneyland Resort “pink” line.

Ride MTR to Disneyland Resort Station

2) Hong Kong Disneyland Tour – HK$350 one day admission ticket (promo).

1500: Main street parade

2000: Fireworks display at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle

Hong Kong Night Market

1) Transport to Temple Street Night Market

Ride MTR to Yau Ma Tei station.

2) Transport back to Mirador Mansion

 We took a flight from Singapore to Hong Kong at 1+am midnight

 Before we depart, we had our dinner

 And burger king as our supper

 Can't wait to fly again at boarding gate

 This time we fly on Cathay Pacific > more comfortable =X

 Ahhh, I like that KitKat bar

 We reached at about 5+am and boarded a bus to our bnb area
 Put down luggages and went ahead for our first HK breakfast

 On the way, in the MTR to Hong Kong Disneyland

 We finally entered after we queued for tickets for nearly 15minutes
 Best of all, it was drizzling that day so there weren't many people around
 The security wasn't that tight that day
 We sneaked KitKat bars and 2 bottles of water in
 Not caught as I am a great pretender (:

 No selfie stick allowed in the park opps...
 I didn't use la, okay~

 Rafts to Tarzan Treehouse led us to the Tarzan's island

 Old West Town
Here comes the roller coaster at the mine site
It was called the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars

Anyway, I took a deep breathe after I saw what happened
After a significant distance travelled backwards
The coaster will speed off from a tunnel (:
It was a magnetic launch (rapid acceleration)
Therefore, I wasn't gonna shock myself haha..

The Geyser Gulch - mistakenly built on geysers, the old town of Grizzly Gulch
The fake steam was a little steamy though

 That's the roller coaster's route

 It was drizzling outside so we went into a shelter
 Take cover~ but the aircond hall left us shivering in cold

This is the Festive of the Lion King staged within the Theater in the Wild

 Nevertheless, it was a good show
 We were lucky to have entered early and had good view of the musical show

 The trick-eye display at Garden of Wonders

Toy Story Playland (also known as Toy Story Land)
You will be brought to Andy's backyard and you will be shrinked down as this themed land uses oversized versions of  impressive real world toys.

The Toy Story Land offers parachute rides, a towering orange Hot Wheels race track, balsa wood airplanes, railings made of K’Nex construction kits, wooden railway track for benches

As usual I am pretty afraid of heights
Dislike the Toy Soldier Parachute Drop
Gosh I lost the pictures I took before this ride

This is the pass for Slinky Dog Spin
Most kid friendly rides in the park

 And here goes the spinning train..
 Girls make sure you enter first and sit closer to the centre
 Else the inertia will make that person on the inner seat to move sidewards
 And you gonna get crashed badly

 This is the one I hated most
 The RC Hot Wheels Ride got me freaked out
 The G-Force was superb powerful when it dropped
 As if my lungs and kidneys still on top when my body was already dropping down
 It's a shutter roller coaster that goes up and down a half-pipe "U-shaped" track
 Hitting the highest points TWICE!!!
 Although the ride duration was quite short
 I still felt a bit shaky after that

 So yea, an ice cream treat to chill a bit

 This is a must-have popsicle when you visit the themepark

 Poor him, not enough sleep on flight
 Kena bullied by me throughout the flight

Meet Elsa. Anna and Olaf in the new Frozen Village at HK Disneyland~
The Frozen Show was ongoing so we managed to secure a seat
Although we lost the reservation pass given to us before the show
Thank God we didn't missed it

This took place at Crown Jewel Theater
And Elsa had that Let It Go~ part (can be seen here)
That powerful blast can be seen reaching as high as the ceiling

 Lunch menu displayed outside the restaurant

 As the boy plans for the next attraction places
 I chewed on my food as I couldn't read maps

 Delicious :) or maybe because I was too hungry =X

 We were so tired so we decided to take a ride on the
 Dumbo the Flying Elephant (:
 As usual we go for the unusual height and refuse to go down!

 Autopia ride wasn't that fast after all
 So, we slowly cruise along the scenic superhighway of tomorrow

OMG, the Sleeping Beauty Castle was just right behind us!
A door to the enchanted tales begins here~

 Fantasyland
We went to one of the high guest capacity ride
It would be It's a Small World

And proceeded to the Cinderella Carousel in the evening
Reminiscing my childhood memories
Then, we went for the Mad Hatter Tea Cups to catch some wind

 This is the Part 2 of the Mystic Manor offered incredible dark ride
 Before the ride, we had to go through a tour with brief description
 There were countless number of surprises coupled with special effects
 What I loved most what when Lord Henry touches the jewel box
 The music box opened and poofed
 Jets of music dust rushed out of the box and the music began to play
 The dust flies around the room (laser effect)
 Bringing objects around it to life

Before we realized, it was night time already
And we went for the night parade
The Disney Paint the Night - Night time Spectacular Show
It took place for at least 35minutes and then everyone gathered around
Just to watch the fireworks show at 8pm

 Tinker Bell Opening Unit led the way

 Monsters, Inc. Unit navigate an array of vibrant, twirling doors

 Cars Unit

Mack featured in the parade was over 54 feet long and 18 feet tall
Equipped with giant light display panels affixed to his sides

The Little Mermaid Unit
King Triton, Ariel and a school of glowing sea creatures

Belle Candlelight Unit
Featuring "tale as old as time" story

 Toy Story Unit
 Slinky Dog ever-changing coils

 Mickey and Friends Finale Unit
 Riding above heads and is the star of celebration
 Ends the parade with happiness and vibrant colour display

 Before that let's take a we-fie before more humans came crushing in

 Ahemmmm.. we were seated on the floor

 And then the Sleeping Beauty Castle lights up
