The sky was still dark when I left my room
Heading to the train station to meet my sis and her friends
She smsed me she was on the train heading my station
So 15minutes later train arrived and I got in searching for her
Unfortunately it was a different train from hers
Reached KL Sentral and had breakfast at McD
Bought tickets for theme park and bus services
Departed at 9.30am happily and eagerly waiting what's coming up next
Reached within 1hour.. such a short journey
Last time it took me bout 5 hours when I departed from Penang
Well the view along the way was nice and calm outside
The driver was professional as he swayed every corner
I saw the tyre was closed to the drain and uttered "Wow!"
We directly headed to the outdoor theme park upon arrival
In the cool breeze after a morning downpour
We made our way to the park's famed Flying Coaster ride
This is a special ride and it is the first in Asia
Having to lie down on the platform and stand on a mini ladder
With their back strapped to a cage-like frame
Unlike the usual roller-coaster ride in which passengers are seated
I felt how Superman felt while he was flying in the air ^^
Next was the Sungai Rejang Flume Ride which made us all soaked
Each log boat takes a short, rapid descent before splashing into a pool of water
It doesn't look scary at all from far as I thought
However, I really shocked and my heart missed a beat or two
When the log boat slide down like land slide at the cliff
Anyway, all of us soaked from waist down
The level of excitement seek by teenagers and youths can be found here
There were several other thrilling rides in the park
Pirate ship, spinner, corkscrew, Grand Prix Fun Kart,
Space shot, bumper boat, flying dragon coaster rides
The only game I did not try is the Space shot
I couldn't handle the pressure down my throat
As I might choked to death
I couldn't alleviate my fear since the last 3 years
I still couldn't step my foot into it
Well that's not crucial as long as I'm happy
Not long after mists started to pay its fierce visit
Closing the whole theme park area one can barely see 10meters ahead
As usual it will rain at noon around 1pm to about 5pm
It happened almost everyday in Genting and all outdoor activities had to stop
Moments not wasted and we went for mouth-watering lunch
I ordered Frog Leg Porridge since the weather was cold
And it's best served with something hot and boiling
Can't believe they loaded too much pepper and I dislike the ginger -.-
Costs me bout rm 15 and I felt reasonable eating on top of the hill
After meals we went around as I brought the troop here and there
Everyone else dunno the directions but I still remembered a little
From the past memory daunting back 3 years ago after I finished my STPM
Amazingly the guard at casino allowed my sis and I to go in and had a look
Well we just go for a drink and peeped around those hungry gamblers
We headed back at 8.30pm to catch the bus back KL Sentral
We ate our dinner upon reaching downhill as it was much cheaper
All and all it was a good trip and my sis first visit to Genting was memorable
Although it was my second time to Genting, I missed the cold weather there
Will plan to go there again whenever possible ^^

Finally Done!
After 2 semesters of hard work
Endless meetings and lab works
Unlimited time spent at jungle stinky lab
With mice borned generation after generation
Amounting up to 80 of them
And yet their life were terminated
Thanks to all my friends and lecturer
For guidance, advice and support
We gone through the dark and the light
We had laughter and of course gossips
Although there were 5 of us assigned on almost the same task
The malay guy shunned away cause he was too shy to mix
End up we 4 girls 1 gang nonstop chit chatting
All the way in lab, in car and in the office
Well, I was happy and will never get to experience it anymore
Not planning to take masters as I hate lab work
Long hours trapped in the lab sounds like a prisoner
Kept waiting and waiting for final results
And today is thesis draft submission day
I finally get it done and soon will be facing hell
THE PRESENTATION DAY - Viva
The process of printing made me suffered
You cannot trust PDF files as they will deviate
The alignments, font size everything will change
After printed I checked but was lazy so printed 2 copies
Thinking that I no longer have to print again
Postgrad message us ask us to confirm our graphs with her
In less than 24 hours she wants a change
You think Bersih 3.0 meh?
I am sorry I couldn't make it for her
I will hand up whatever I have on my hands at 2pm
Plus threathen to attend graduation dinner by faculty
The damage was incredibly RM 15... Owh..
The printing itself cost me RM 40+
So total damage in this week more than RM 50 already
But anyhow I am happy that my work is done

Port Dickson Trip and Seremban Interchange
And a total of 13 people from Biochemistry Department off for holidays
The trip to Seremban took us bout 40minutes as we chit chat in the car
It was a smooth journey from sunny to cloudy days
Had our breakfast I ate Wan Than Mee which is much similar
To Penang's delicacies and I felt satisfied
Upon reaching Aeon Jusco Seremban the sky turned grey
As we shopped around and took a look at what's available
An hour later headed to Tesco Extra Seremban to purchase goods
Heavy rain welcomed us after we done shopping
Ivan's mummy welcomed us with warm greetings
As we all gather in his house to prepare bbq stuffs
We sat down and watch movies and busy chatting
Some fell asleep on his comfortable sofa and some plays poker
I was lying lazy on his couch and eyes on them all
We left about 3pm heading to the beach
It was another half hour plus journey from Seremban
We stopped by to purchase Seremban Siew Pau
Which is the most famous in the country and
I can tell you it tastes great and crunchy
But one reminder you have to eat it ASAP
So that the texture is preserved as the way it meant to be
We were in excitement in the car and keep chatting
As we got out of our car, we frantically took everything with us
And headed to the beach to feel the sand and the sea water
The trees around welcomed us with the friendly sea breeze looking awesome
We have noon mini picnic and the sun is not glaring that day
Made it a perfect one for us since it rained in the morning
We played some sand games and some poor guys get buried
The sea was low tide that time and we walked for quite a distance
We lighted up the charcoal after setting it up 3hours ago
In just 10minutes a bunch of policemen and policewomen approaches
A total of 6 clad in uniforms and wanted to summon us for illegal act
Lighted fire on their beach directly on the sand itself without zinc
Just because 1 summon and so many had to come at the same time
While another group of Malays were camping nearby and weren't caught
It seemed a little unfair cause they too violated the rules but no action taken against them
A compound of RM250 was given by them
We managed to get some discounts as we were not locals
Fortunately so many of us it's a small amount
We continued bbq-ing and enjoy grilled chicken wings
Frankly i love those corns, they were sweet and pop in your mouth as you chew them
We sat there till late evening and you'll see golden sands on the beach
As the sun is setting you can sense romance in the air as coupled cuddled
As sit by the shores enjoying the last moment of the day
But Malay couples too? isn't that forbidden? aiks..
The sun went down and the moon rise up thereafter
We played some games which i hated most : True Or Dare
In the middle of those eerie beach and seashore they played
I was lucky as it didn't hit me cause they sure ask something sarcastic
One of the lucky question to F i guess made S a little curious and jealous
When You Lost Your First Kiss? That was a trap -.-
Headed back to uni at 10pm as predicted
All of us smell fishy as we were at the beach for many hours
Everyone was happy and thanks to the organisers who planned so well
As we all gather in his house to prepare bbq stuffs
We sat down and watch movies and busy chatting

Our First Outing
Day 1
- took train from kajang (0930) but i arrived early afraid that i would miss that train
- caught a cab and rushed to train station
- had a detour at Kluang - Kulai - Jb Sentral
- the journey supposed to be 6 hours but i arrived 8 hours later
- reached and rested a while before heading for movie "Wrath Of The Titans" 1915 @ Cathay
- although a little dizzy due to the rain but after that we had enough rest for the next day ^^
- im truly sorry that we didn't make it to the second round movie..
- he was caring and hmm the first time i saw him, he is cute and had baby face..
- the funny thing is everyone can't see me but i could see them cause i'm too short.. yeah..
- i was a bit worried i can't recognise him as i had poor memories on faces.. thank God everything went well and i'm glad to even travel so far and met him in person..
Day 2
- he brought me to various shopping mall and patiently explain every single mall we went to.. although i'm not a good shopper neither is him, but we enjoyed each others company..
- one good thing i loved bout him is he is really patience when he is with me, even though i wore wedges and walk quite slow (compared to my sport shoes), he didn't complain..
- initially he forgotten that he has a girl beside him and he walked freely.. i don't blame him cause i knew he had not been in relationship for quite some time so he forgotten to wait for me ^^ hahax
- stopped by at Tampines Mall -> Golden Village 2130 The Vow @.@ (now i know both of us love to watch movies)
Day 3
- went to Universal Studio via Sentosa Express
- theme park divided into 7 places namely (hollywood, new york, sci-fi city, ancient egypt, lost world, far far away and madagascar) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Studios_Singapore
- i loved those 3D, 4D rides and outdoor as well as indoor coasters a lot.. The HUMAN and CYLON ride actually made my heart stopped a beat or two.. If it was not with him, I swear I don't have the courage to even ride it..
- our first time taking pictures together and spending day hand in hand.. i knew he felt tired and hungry at that moment but he rarely complaints..
- despite the flaws, we still get along well and ahem, i loved to lie on his shoulder ^^ just feelings comfortable and reliable (don't get jealous ya)
- walking around whole day and then by 1800 we decided to head for double meals @ vivo mall..
- headed to marina bay sands casino (paise my first time entering casino), surprised that it is so huge and crowded.. didn't bet but went for free drinks instead..
- suddenly there was laser water show at 2130, amazed and mouth opened wide ^^ saw from the tv last time and never had imagined i'm watching it live.. WOW..
- Thanks to my dear for the plans he had for me, i actually didn't know bout it.. Hugsss...
- we were tired and headed back home for a good rest..
Day 4
- watched him getting off to work and passed me his possesion then i headed back to sleep.. woke up nearly noon, I went to Tampines Mall alone, had lunch and headed to SMRT -> Raffles Place
- i had to admit i loved to see him dressed in formal.. i can't take my eyes off him by then.. (don't ask me why, cause i don't know the reason too)
- Adventurous day ^^ and owh, with my headphones on, I walked unknowingly whichever direction i wanted to head to..
- finally, i made it to see Merlion.. spitting water.. -.-
- amazing view huh? i came from another directions, i went back another directions.. as the skies getting darker, i hurried my footsteps back to raffles place..
- he rushed back an hour earlier than scheduled and we went out for dinner @ Bugis Junction, shopped @ triple storey Bugis Street and then took a bus back.. i wondered if he had serious backpain or not, but the only thing i knew was until now, i haven't hear a word of tired from him truly..
- he was extremely hungry and craved for RAMEN ^^ so he ate two meals at one time but i'm not surprised, he needed more energy to supervise this little kid...
- the last night spending all the previous time with him before departing back to Malaysia.. heavy-hearted me feels a bit sad.. but i had to leave too.. i knew he felt the same just that he didn't show it to me...
Day 5
- i thought he will send me right up to the gate of Changi airport terminal as i already prepared to be on my own.. my oh my, he helped and waited for me to check-in my luggage and had breakfast with me before he left..
- i was so glad that he was with me all the time.. and as soon as my flight left Singapore 1140 i felt that the distance between us is bigger apart but my heart is closest to you no matter what.. reached at 1240 took bus for almost 1 hour back KL Sentral..
- Lunch @ Burger King and reached university at 1615
During that 5 days trip, many awkward moments experienced, some were funny, some were sweet, some were speechless, and some melted my heart away... hope he felt the same way as i do... all these memories will be kept eternally here and more to come after this... Love you so much <3

Few Minutes In Darkness
As the power supply abruptly brought to a emergency halt,
The whole shopping mall were swallowed by darkness,
As the sky were dark and moon shone bright outside,
A sharp thoughts cut into my mind,
I remembered my friends last told me,
The haunted stories at my workplace,
Sudden anxious grew strong inside me,
Wanting to find out if it's real and solid,
I looked around in darkness and saw people everywhere,
Especially other girls who were kind of scared and terrified,
I was hoping the electric disruption to last longer,
So that i can have chances to hop around....
However seconds after the current went off,
With the customers still in front of my counter,
I sat down and started to ransacked my drawer,
Looking for torchlights and some batteries....
The auntie beside me asked me to stand up and keep quiet,
I was wondering why she said so,
We aint singing the national anthem,
Moreover, this month is no longer HUNGRY GHOST FESTIVAL,
I don't believe ghost will even pull me legs >
Before i managed to set up my pathetic torchlights,
The generator functioned just in time to allow us resuming work,
What a disappointment not able to search for the spirits there....
So i uttered a bit in disguise,
In the end, the spirit proves itself when my counter short of money during closing...
I just hope to find out more in details about them living at my workplace....

Journey To The East ( Part III - Visit to Duty Free Labuan and Last Moment At KK + Bid Farewell)
Day 6 - Menumbok Jetty + Fantastic Labuan Island
We departed early to the jetty which took us 3 hours from KK town to Menumbok and another ferry ride (costs RM5 one way and Rm1.50 surcharge) for 1.5 hours to reach Labuan.
Free Trade Zone at Labuan Ferry Terminal
Upon reaching many of us bought chocolates and wine which was duty free. We frantically entered all the shoplots and choose our desired chocolates. If you notice the price is a lot cheaper than the usual one, please check out the expiry date on it. I bought some ferrero rocher which costs RM23 for 30 units and some NIPS and Toblerone of various flavour. Another attention of wine was the D.O.M.E. costs at only Rm65 without the box itself. If it's with the box, you may find the cheapest at Labuan Airport which only costs you Rm78.
The Chimney Museum, Labuan
The mining of charcoal of the ancient time was displayed here with detailed description and there is a tower which looks like the lighthouse located high above. However its function were still unknown.
The Birk Park, Labuan
There fees was Rm2 for us as student and Rm3 for adults, opened from Monday to Sunday 10am - 4.30pm but closed on Friday. There were few birds and we saw 2 gorgeous parrot near the entrance and they swayed with the music played by the management team. We were welcomed by Myna Birds with several hot words like Hi/Hello/Wow at the entrance of the round shaped cage. It took us about 30-40 minutes before we headed to a beach.
The Marine Park, Labuan
It is free of charge as only few species of marine fishes here. We manages to touch the tame sharks and starfishes. The upper section was closed as we were too late to reach our destinated places.
BBQ by The Seaside
We planned to have it at the seaside but due to lack of clean water and lights at the shore, we decided to head back to Sok Kuan's house compound. Behind her house, we dug 2 holes and placed some bricks and charcoal. Together with fire starter, Jia Shen and me started to light up the fire. Meanwhile, Wan Yee, Michelle and Jia Ye came to help. Michelle looked funny and she seemed blurred about blowing up the fire. Hehe :)
In the end, we managed to light them all up, with 2 sites, we bbq for 3hours and chatted with each others. Nearby there were swings and we did played with it. We celebrated Sok Kuan's birthday in advance as her birthday is approaching soon. She seemed enjoying it a lot. Everyone was happy that night.
Day 7 - Labuan + Klias River + KK
Labuan International Airport
The Labuan Airport is way advance than Penang Airport. There were lesser people there and lesser flight than expected.
Labuan Square
It turned out to be place like memorial with flags and pieces of Labuan Island on the ground. We doubted if it was a hypermarket but we ended up at a memorial place. While waiting for Sok Kuan who went for the interview, we took a break at the nearest KFC restaurant.
Ngee Hing Restaurant, Labuan
This was the most satisfactory restaurant we ever tasted. My friend ordered the Laksa Sarawak costs RM 4.50 and I ordered Kolo Mee costs RM 3.50 (the both of them taste good + reasonable prices too). This kopitiam located opposite Labuan Ferry Terminal.
Klias River (Probocis Monkey + Fireflies Observatory Area)
Along the way back to KK, uncle suggested us to visit this reserved park as it worth RM 80. We had our high tea before we depart to view the probocis monkey along the river for a ride of 30minutes. We headed back to the chalet and dine our dinner consisted of pork portions which was a delicious meal.
We boarded the same boat with some Shanghai people and they were amused looking over to the long-nose monkey and they shouted in joy. The viewing was done without guidance and you'll need to search for it yourself.
After dinner, we departed again on the same boat, the same people and it took us 15 minutes boat ride to view the fireflies on the trees along the riverbank. It looked like natural christmas trees which wowed all of us. We turned all our lights and move in darkness.

Day 8 - Waterfront KK
We walked to the nearby kopitiam selling Sheng Rou Mian (semi-raw pork noodles) and it was served with kolo mee or soup mee. It tasted good and delicious which was way better than Guo Min Restaurant, Kota Kinabalu. The sauce taste better and the employees was friendly. It costs reasonably at RM 5.50.
The view from the waterfront was awesome, some sort like our Penang Gurney Drive. As it was bout 11am, the sun rose high and we sat on the chairs of a bar facing the sea and we chatted a while there. The bars available in the style of coffeeshop not like our Semenanjung closed and dark chamber. They are open-aired and legal.
THE TRIP TO SABAH ENDED HERE. EVERYONE WAS HAPPY AND THANKS AGAIN TO THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE FOR MAKING THIS TRIP A REALITY, NOT A DREAM.
WE ARE DREADFUL HOPING FOR THE NEXT TRIP!!! TATA :)
Journey To The East ( Part II - The Abundance of Joy Continues ) )
Day 3 - Kundasang and Ranau
We woke up daily about 6.30am and got ready as Uncle Chong fetched us to a kopitiam at Ranau, we ate Tuaran Mee (dry) which is like Wan Than Mee but it is totally dry. I rate it B+ ^^
Then we headed to souvenir stalls, like flee market. I just bought some keychains, cube looking ones with the word Sabah on it.
When we arrived, hot spring bath tub was full with visitors and we straight headed to Canopy Walk and paid RM3 entrance fees. The total of 4 bridges can only accommodate 6 people at one time. We walked in excitement and even took photos. It lasted about 15 minutes hiking and another 15 minutes canopy walk.
Then we walked to the waterfall with clear signs along the way and reached there about 15 minutes later. Form far, we can hear the water splashing down. The water was cold and nice, refreshing our body. However, Ivan and Jai jumped into the water soon as we arrived, while others just dipped their legs in and took photos again ^^
Mishap happened when my slipper were brought away by the dashing river water, without nanosecond, i rushed to prevent it being snatched away from me. All my friends were shocked to see me acting like ninja turtle.
Mishap happened when my slipper were brought away by the dashing river water, without nanosecond, i rushed to prevent it being snatched away from me. All my friends were shocked to see me acting like ninja turtle.
We got free fish spa out of the sudden. I felt ticklish as it bit me between my toes :)
However, we all enjoyed it ^^ Finally we returned to Hot Spring and found an empty tub. We juz dipped our legs again into that warm water and continued taking photos. About 15 minutes later, we left that place.
The feeling of New Zealand was the best part of the trip. The cold weather and the chill wind blows upon us once we got down the van. The road towards it was steep and took us some time to reach. The smell of the cow was so dense and we went it eagerly to harvest some milk. However, most of the processes were already been carried out by machines. We went wondering around and even some took photos with a mud of stool. What an eye opening event!! haha :)
From there, we were able to view Mount Kinabalu peak, sometimes it was covered with thick white clouds. We waiting for it to be blown away and we chatted with Uncle Chong. We then took photos again. Rainbows can be seen very often at this place as it's damp and cold daily.
Vege Market, Kundasang
They sell fruits, flowers and vege all are freshly pluck from their farms. They even have various kinds of "keropok" and the price is reasonable. Uncle Chong drove us there and recommended few local favourite "keropok" to us. We bought some home ^^
Fairy Garden Resort, Kundasang
Located half hill and high from the sea level, it is cold and windy at night where the windows were hit by the wind and sounds of the wind could be heard. The bedrooms was nice and tidy. The guys rooms had some problems with some haunted stories. Seriously I do not believe doors can open by itself as spirits could not access it. They do not have to open it at all. In fact, they just go through it. These are the stories created by a couple. Maybe those spirit was not plesant by their indecent act. haha :)
We ended up gathering at one of the ladies room for approximately 4 hours chatting and playing cards and games. However I did not join that night as I was having slight headache. Our noise had made the resort filled with joy and luckily no one else complained. It seems empty too.
We ate steamboat as dinner and we ordered original chicken herb and tomyam soup. The steamboat was not worth its price, the seafood was not fresh, the meat was too little and a lot vege served which is not my favourite. It was a failed dinner.
Day 4 - Kundasang + KK
We were at the starting point of the great Mount KK hike. At that faithful morning, the weather was so good and clouds could be seen floating nearby. There is a botanical nearby and we tried to explore it. Given limited time to fool around, we headed back to KK in a short while and stopped by the souvenir shop again. Many of my friends bought things but I managed to taste their ice-cream on that bright sunny afternoon to quench thirst.
Guo Min Restaurant, Kota Kinabalu
We tested its SHENG ROU MEE costs at RM8.60 per set (it was stated on its board that it only costs RM7 but the bill showed that mee and meat were separately counted). The service by the old maid was bad. I doubted she's having menopause or what but considering her age like 55+, i think she's having depression or emo. Haha :)
Suria Sabah, KK
It was a new shopping complex located bout 1km away from our lodge with branded shops and many others yet to be opened. The cinema was located at the 8th floor and we decided to watched The Priest (which was not my choice - just followed the crowd) and it was considered to be late movies as my daddy never approved me to watch this late.. yeahh, freedom abroad... The cinema was not as crowded as Queensbay and it is smaller in size.
It was never in my mind that I would have the chance to play with rafting. This is my very first time trying out on new sports. It was fun, the briefing by Sham was hilarious and informative. As Yi Hong, Ivan, Michelle, Fong Sim, Seng Wah and I board the same boat with another instructor; he was friendly, willing to guide us with patience and keep pouring us with water keeping us wet and cool.
The remaining other Jia Shen, Jia Ye, Melody and Huey Chyi with 2 other visitors under Sham guidance was more adventurous. He dragged them all down water and again they taste the river water ^^ The rafting is 8km long and it took us about 1hour + to finish it. We swam during half of the journey in that chilled water river. Even though we got stucked at swallow water due to high rocks, our instructor went down to move our boat and we continue to flow with the water.
A Particular Temple At Ranau
It was unpredictable stop as we encounter Ranau's Pagoda temple along with scrulpture of the character in the movie *Journey to The East*. The Pagoda was nicely built and it is about 15floor high above ground. There are zodiac signs outside at the main entrance.
UMS Aquarium
It was a common aquarium which only takes 10minutes to explore. We were charged RM3 for entrance fees which is not worth the price of visit. The brief moment at the aquarium was just to rest our mind. At the entrance if you look up to the ceiling, there was a model guy snorkeling as if he was in deep sea water.

Philipino Market Pit Stop
With the crowded stalls of up to more than 50, visitors were busy bargaining for the best price. We, the ladies lost to the guys as they went for shopping more than us. I bought 2 bracelets made of pearls and crystals, a pair of pearl earrings for mummy and a heart-shaped crystal for my granny. Yi Hong bought the most jewellery for his family. :)
